Treatment & Care:

The human body has the capability to heal itself from most injuries, provided we allow ourselves time to recuperate. However, this may not be an option for most athletes. In such cases, there are a few domestic cures that can be easily applied such as applying ice or analgesic ointments on the swollen leg, ingesting anti-inflammatory painkillers based on the doctor’s advice, using orthotic shoes, and covering the leg with a neoprene sleeve to keep it warm.

In some cases, it is also recommended to keep the legs elevated and practice certain range-of-motion exercises, as advised by the physiotherapist
